What I Pack || West Coast Trip

The time has finally come! I am flying to LA to meet up with my parents for our West Coast trip. I am so excited to see them and get some family time. West Coast always has a soft spot in my heart and I haven’t been back there for the last three years so it will be a really fun trip for me.

Our destinations include LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Grand Canyon. Since my parents and I will be doing a lot of sightseeing, I am packing mostly comfortable clothes and shoes- no heels or delicate shoes. I still want to look cute though so I am bringing a couple of new pieces I got for Spring like this, this, and this. It will be really hot there but windy and chilly when we are up at Grand Canyon so I am packing a light jacket and a warm cardigan that would go with any of the outfits I planned.

For beauty products, I am bringing some travel size items as well as my regular full size bottles. I tried these Belif deluxe samples when I went to Miami and I’ve fallen in love with them ever since then! They are all very comforting and soothing on my skin and the water essence and the aqua bomb together are the perfect duo! They keep my skin so hydrated and supple. I’m also bringing a sample size of Kiehl’s midnight recovery concentrate for extra hydration if I feel like my skin is too dry. Hotel air always seems to dry out my skin so I always bring some kind of oil with me.

I’ve also packed this little guy from Fresh. It’s a moisturizing face mask and I think I might need this to give my skin a rest and nutrition after a long day out in the sun.

I’m bringing my full size Caudalie radiance serum because I’m on the very last leg of my Belif Hungarian water essence that I just mentioned above. Other things that I am packing are facial mist and cleansing water from Caudalie. I’m also bringing a dry shampoo that I received in my Barneys beauty bag. I don’t know how this dry shampoo from Sachajuan performs and this trip will be a good opportunity to test it out! Last not but least, I can’t forget my body lotion from Sabon. I LOVE this body lotion- it smells heavenly and puts me in a calm mood at night and I do like to believe that it helps me sleep well too because the scent is so calming and spa-like.

I’m bringing this eyeshadow palette from Tarte with me. I just got this to bring with me on this trip during the Sephora sale. It’s a great small warm tone palette to travel with. It’s so compact- it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my makeup bag.

I also put my Smashbox primer so that my makeup doesn’t wear off quickly, my two favorite transition eye shadows from Etude House, Bobbi Brown shimmery bronzer, and MAC soft and gentle highlighter.

Sadly it’s cold here again so I am excited to leave for some California sun!
