Hi all! I meant to blog this post before I left for CA but never did. So here it is: my second “What I Wore” post! Hope you enjoy!
In this picture, I wore a marino sweater in this beautiful pastel blue color and paired it with pink culottes. For shoes, I wore my silver strappy sandal that I adore very much. I love how clean and sleek this outfit looks and the pastel colors just scream Spring. It took me no effort at all to throw this outfit on and I love clothing pieces that allow you to do that! No fuss!
This shirt is such a feminine top. I love the bow detail in the front that kinda makes the top look like a pirate’s outfit. I’ve seen so many similar or exactly same styles everywhere (here, here, and here) and didn’t want to see myself running into people wearing the same outfit. I mean, I guess I have to accept the fact that it will happen with the more on-trend pieces. But this top is a tad bit different- the fabric is lightweight and breathable material, allowing air to flow. The sleeve has two tiers of ruffles. I feel like this top looks a lot more sophisticated and high quality than other ones that are available on fast fashion websites.
You can wear this top in two ways: you can pull the shoulder part down if you want to go for an off the shoulder look or pull it all the way up to have more coverage around the chest area for a more modest look. Because it’s a wrap shirt, you can really play with it and adjust it to make your body look more flattering.
Anyway enough with the raving, on the bottom, I wore basic high-waisted white shorts. Because the top has a lot going on, I didn’t want to wear something that’s too loud. And in my opinion, it looked perfect! I am excited to wear this outfit again.
First of all, please don’t mind the messy background. I was in the process of spring cleaning and getting rid of some clothes. Forgive me!
In this photo, I’m wearing a pair of mom jeans from Zara, a white t-shirt from Anthropologie, and a utility jacket from Madewell. This is my absolute favorite style: a pair of jeans and a white top. So simple yet stylish. You may see similar outfits like this over and over again in my future “What I Wore” posts because this is definitely my go-to look.
One of my all time favorite tops that has been in my wardrobe for a year now. I wore this beautiful white top with ruffled sleeves from Club Monaco on Easter Sunday, and of course it’s not available anymore because I got it last year, but I’ll link some similar styles below! I paired it with ripped flared jeans from Joe’s Jeans and my new favorite sandals from Topshop that I featured in my previous post.
What have you been wearing lately? Please share in the comments below! Happy Spring!
